ALBUM: Red Hot Chili Peppers "Stadium Arcadium"

It took me over two darn weeks to start making difference between all those songs. Seriously, it's too much material to digest even for a fan like me. Well, actually, I'm not such a HUGE fan, but I have kept track with their doings. Anyway, after 14 days of concentrated listening (or in other words - brainwashing myself), I must say, that this is one hell of a good album. Although you must admit, that the first single "Dani California" seems to be a total rip-off of Tom Petty's "Last dance with Mary Jane", but if Tom Petty and RHCP don't seem to care, why should I.
Anyway, all other songs seem to be original material. My personal favorites are the slow songs of this album - the bit wicked "Desecration smile" and "Hard to concentrate", which lyrics are a bit depressing, but the melody is what seems to suit me, especially the chorus part. And of course the second single "Tell me baby", we can't forget that. I even added the video, it's quite fun. Reminds me how much I want to see them on stage. Hopefully it happens before they get too old... that means soon.
Oh, and "Torture me", "Slow Cheetah", "Hey", "Strip my mind", "So much I" and so on and so on, are good too. Gosh, there are so many of them, it would be wiser to list the songs, I didn't like.
So here they are... these sucked: "Hump de Bump", "Warlocks", "If", "Animal bar".. and that seems to be it.
And just a random fact: did you know, that Flea (the twitching coolest bassist ever) has appeared in the movies The Big Lebowski, My Own Private Idaho , Son in Law, The Blue Iguana, The Chase (1994) (with RHCP bandmate Kiedis), Motorama, Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Cool, heh?
Enjoy the banana:)
