BANANA TOP: best music videos TOP5

Hell Monkey:

1. Daft Punk - Arount the World
The best music video of all times. Seriously - it's so simple and so nifty. I could watch it thousand times again and again.

2. Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice
This one is also so simple and pure and after all Christopher Walken is so charming.

3. Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People
I just had to put one of his music videos in this top. It was tough choice - I almost would have chosen Coma White instead, but it's too depressive and there's not much action. The Beautiful People is more enjoyable, Floria Sigismondi has done good job with this one.

4. A Perfect Circle - Judith
Well, not a great artistical masterpiece as a video, but somehow it has grown on me.

5. Queens of the Stone Age - Little Sister
I just love the mood and especially the lighting in this video.

Heaven Monkey:

That's a tough one, because I'm not very much into watching music videos and it took a great effort to recall my favorites (actually firstly to recall if I even had any).

1. Blur - Coffee & TV
Featuring the cutest milk-carton my eyes have ever seen. It/he even has his own fan-site.

2. Tool - Parabola
Rather a short film than a music video. It probably has a very deep meaning and many allusions to Kabbala and lots of other stuff that I don't understand, but I like it anyway.

3. Radiohead & DJ Shadow - Rabbit in your Headlights
Actually the song is found on UNKLE's album "Psyence Fiction", so I'm not sure, who should be referred as an author.

4. Björk - Pagan Poetry
Well, it could've been "Cocoon", "Bachelorette" or "Triumph of a Heart" as well, but I had to choose one. Eccentric and plain beautiful (presupposing you like Björk). Besides it's one of my favorite tracks on my favorite Björk's album.

5. Daft Punk - Revolution 909
Tomato's journey from market to a policeman's shirt. I remember watching it on VIVA almost ten years ago and I liked it a lot then. Since I usually forget seen videos quickly, I thought it's good enough to make it to the 5th place.

1. Daft Punk - Around the World (http://www.director-file.com/gondry/daft.html)
Always in the top 5. Most of the time this video is number one, but sometimes for a short period others could steal the place.

2. The Tough Alliance - Holiday (http://www.publicservice.info/TTA_Holiday.mov)
Nice dance moves:)

3. The Knife - Pass This On (http://64.207.133.64/upload/Director%20File/Johan%20Renck/High%20Res./theknif_BbandHi.mov)
Was my favorite for a long time.

4. Cansei de Ser Sexy - Let's Make Love And Listen To Death From Above (http://media.subpop.com/downloads/free/Lets_Make_Love_and_Listen_to_Death_From_Above380.mov)
I love this empty street and big houses at the beginning of the video. And the band seems to have fun - always positive thing:)

5. Prabhu Deva - Kalluri Vaanil (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRmqZRPgK1w)
A.k.a. Crazy Indian Music Video. Could easily be my favorite at the moment, but only fifth place in the all-time top 5:)

Actually, they are all pretty close together and it's hard to rank them somehow.

You know, I have never seen Tori's videos..I suppose this is a sign that I should do it now.

The TTA's video is really neat too.
And the woman (?) in the Knife's video looks really interestingly weird.
