NEWS: Sparta new album coming soon

Actually this is old news. Real old. But I'm slow. Really slow. So sorry for the lag.
Anyway, as the Mars Volta is releasing a new album any time now, how can the other half of the once so legendary At The Drive-In be slower? So on October 10th Sparta's new album THREES will be released. As it has become a habit to make the first single available in the net before the album becomes available, you can listen to the new song "Taking Back Control" from their myspace.com profile here.
Well, what can I say.. from the first listenings it truthfully doesn't sound so interesting. The older songs available in myspace are much better from my point of view. It leaves my with nothing more than foolish hope that it was just a poor choice for the first single.

Sparta's homepage is here.
